Wishing you all a lovely start of the week ♡ I t Wishing you all a lovely start of the week ♡ I thought I’d share a few facts about me. I’d love to also get to know you better, so tell me something about yourself 💛

1. I’m 22 years and I’m from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
2. I’m really happy with my new Instagram theme so far and I’m having so much fun experimenting with photography!
3. I don’t know exactly what the future will bring, but someday I hope to live somewhere close to nature, maybe in a cottage, with a garden where I will grow my own vegetables and herbs, and have my two dogs Lily and Daisy by my side 🐕
4. Photography is one of my biggest passions, and I also want to give video-making a try and start an active YouTube channel in the future (I already have some videos up currently, the link is in my bio!) 🎥
5. Early next year I will start a completely new blog with my new name, and I’m so excited to share it with you.
6. After three years of not knowing what I wanted to study after high school, I finally found my dream studies and I will be studying Herbal Medicine in September 🌱
7. These last few years have been the hardest in my life so far, but they’ve also brought me so much to be grateful for. I’ve found Faith & God, and for that I’m so very grateful. I believe in Him, and that He is Good, and that everything happens for a reason and He is right there beside me to guide me. Knowing this, gives me so much strength 💛
8. My biggest inspirations & heroes are my Nana in Heaven, we lost her almost two years ago, I still think about her every day and she was truly the kindest, sweetest Nana I could’ve wished for, and also my mom, she is my best friend and understands me better than anyone else ❤️
9. Music has helped me heal in so many ways, I honestly couldn’t live without it, but unfortunately I don’t have a good singing voice or other musical talent. I wish I could, though, because ever since I was little I’ve wanted to learn how to play the piano and the guitar and practice singing better. Hopefully someday I’ll learn!
10. Lately Birdy’s newest EP Piano Sketches has been on repeat, but also the soundtrack of ‘I Still Believe’ 🎶 If you haven’t seen that movie yet, I definitely recommend it ✨

This is my sister’s cat, Fientje. She’s just the loveliest little cat 🐱 Are you a cat person? I used to believe I was a cat person, until I adopted my two sweetest dogs and now I think I’m both a cat and a dog person 💛
Good morning & happy weekend! ♡ I’m just enjoy Good morning & happy weekend! ♡ I’m just enjoying my homemade hot chocolate, it’s my favorite go-to drink at the moment since it’s super easy to make and very delicious! All I do is add raw cacao powder together with almond milk and some maple syrup, all organic pure ingredients, and heat them up together on the stove. I feel like it’s the perfect drink for this time of the year ☕️ What is your favorite autumn/winter drink? Wishing you all a lovely Saturday! ✨

An oldie, but I still wanted to post it ☕️✨ An oldie, but I still wanted to post it ☕️✨ This photo is from 2015, I think it was one of the first times I’d ever been to Amsterdam and we came across the cutest little café. Even though the quality of the photo is very poor, I have such happy memories of this ♡

I’ve been following the election and my thoughts are with all of you in the US. Praying for a good outcome 💛

Happy November ♡ I can’t believe it’s alread Happy November ♡ I can’t believe it’s already November now, time is flying by so very fast and we’re so close to Christmas and the end of 2020. I know I’m looking forward to 2021, which will hopefully be a better year for all of us ✨

But, even though 2020 has been a really hard year, it has also brought me great love. My Daisy girl was born om February 17th and I got to bring her home on April 12th, and I rescued my sweet Lily on September 5th. Even though times have been so hard, I’m so grateful and my heart is full of love for both of them ❤️ I thought it would be good to give you an update about both of my fur babies as well.

Lily is recovering really well from her first surgery, the swelling has also gone down a lot from the stitches and she’s trusting me more and more. We will go for a checkup next week and then we will also talk with the vet about scheduling her next surgery for her mouth. It’s possible that this will be a bit later than originally anticipated, since my vet already told me that she likes the surgeries to be longer apart from one another because there is always a risk, since Lily is such a small dog and she will have to be put to sleep with anesthesia again.

As for my Daisy girl, if you’ve been following my stories, I went to the dog therapist on Thursday. She has removed some blockages at Daisy’s hips and her back and she referred me to a good place for hydrotherapy, we will have our first appointment there Monday morning! I’m trying to do everything I can to make the muscles in her back as strong as possible and also enjoy all the time I have left with her ❤️

I’m also extending my Etsy sale for the entire month of November as well, and I’ve decided to make it a 20% discount! So my entire Etsy is now 20% off for the entire month, you can click the link in my bio or search for ‘booksandteacupsshop’ on Etsy. Every order is so very much appreciated and important to me and my dogs ❤️

Thank you so, so much!

With love,
Charlotte, Lily and Daisy ♡
